Booking conditions
The following booking conditions are accepted and binding when booking a room at Pearl Island Beach Hotel. 

1. Prices and services
The prices indicated on our price list and on our website are final prices, unless otherwise stated. 

2. Payment
The payment of the deposit and the balance is due according to the agreement between the guest and Pearl Island Beach Hotel. If no special agreement has been made, the entire accommodation price must be paid upon arrival. Payments must be made in cash or by credit card. For cash payments we accept 
Sri Lankan Rupees, US Dollars or Euros. Visa and Mastercard are accepted for credit card payments.

For agency and group bookings, a 30% deposit is due immediately after booking confirmation, unless otherwise agreed. The balance must be paid at least 3 weeks prior to arrival. If the balance is not received in time, Pearl Island Beach Hotel has the right to cancel the reservation/booking. In this case the deposit will not be refunded. 

3. Cancellation and no-show
Up to 8 weeks before arrival you can cancel free of charge. In individual cases, different deadlines are agreed, especially for group and agency bookings. For cancellations within 8 weeks before arrival we charge the following cancellation fees in case we do not rent the room to someone else: 
until the 30th day before arrival 25% of the accommodation price, 
from the 29th to the 07th day before arrival 40% of the accommodation price, 
from the 6th day before arrival 75% of the accommodation price 
and 100% of the accommodation price in case of no-show. The same applies in case of late arrival or early departure.

4. Arrival
Arrival should be between 15.00 and 22.00, unless otherwise agreed.

In case of late arrival the following applies: The guest must notify us no later than the agreed arrival time that he/she will be arriving late or does not wish to move into the booked accommodation until the following day. If the customer fails to notify us in time, Pearl Island Beach Hotel is entitled to book elsewhere. The room must be paid for the period of non-occupancy.

Earlier arrivals and check-in are subject to availability. We recommend that the guest sends us a message at least 1 day before arrival. If the booked room is not yet available, the luggage can be stored in our office. A guaranteed early check-in for the booked room can be booked on request depending on availability and for half the room price

5. Departure
We ask you to leave the room no later than 11:00 am on the day of departure. If the guest does not leave the room on time, Pearl Island Beach Hotel is entitled to charge the guest the full room rate for one day, unless otherwise agreed. 

Late check-out is available for half the room rate per room, subject to availability, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Bookings via booking.com and other booking portals
For bookings via booking.com and other booking portals on the Internet, the booking conditions stored there apply additionally and differently. 

7. Final provisions
Please understand that we can only make reservations for a specific room category, not for a specific room number or room.
